Father Alwick

The village priest of Beeton, Father Alwick is a stout, mostly bald man of some sicty years, still bluff and hearty despite the growing aches of his aging body.  The good Father is an accomplished herbalist, and William's superior in the church of Denithae.

Aranea

The queen of the spider-fey.  Zook has unwittingly become her appointed mate.

Gareth (deceased)

A hearty and uncomplicated young man from the rural community of Malthlyn, Gareth has been told numerous stories of "Most Holy" William Applebough, and has quite the case of hero worship - much to Will's dismay.  Gareth's sturdy build and skill with an axe, however, have proved more than worth the occasional embarassment.

Gareth was killed by the ogre Jaagrath.

The Glimers

Gnomish jewellers and artisans, related to Zook.  Went to Castle Whiterock to look for "the Clockwork Academy", but were captured and sold into slavery by the false monks who laired there.  Subseequently rescued, they have returned to Cillamar and do not intend to go adventuring any more.

Hugin (deceased)

A human fighter, whose preferred weapon is the greatsword.  The heroes rescued him from orcs, and earned his gratitude in return.  He accompanied them for some time, but was ultimately slain by troglodytes.  The group investigated having him reincarnated, but he proved to be content in the afterlife.

Kohta Soulsight

A wise woman of the stone giants, gifted with divinatory powers.  The group rescued her from the strong hold of Cadavag, lord of the ogres.

Lady Arissa Morrick

The daughter-in-law of the powerful Lord Beval. Lady Morrick was saved by the heroes after her family and her home were cursed (by Lord Eldoran, the heroes believe).  Now living with her father-in-law, the young noblewoman has made it clear that the group has her gratitude and respect.

Lady Talbalt

Knight Protector of Justicia, and a Paladin in high standing within Cillamar.  Has agreed to support William's claim to the abandoned temple of Denithae, given the group's assistance in dealing with the unholy taint that pervades it.  Her father went missing in Castle Whiterock some years ago, though she has not asked the group to look for him.

Leah Redoak

An elderly druid who lives in Grollek's Grove.  Leah assisted the group by providing information on the curse at Morrick Mansion.  The heroes later rescued her when she was abducted by the bugbear brigand, Quagmire.

Lo Ren

This thousand year old monk is the custodian - and effective prisoner - of the Library of the Dawning Sun.  He is a skilled and powerful monk.

Lord Beval

Lady Morrick's father-in-law is a bluff, friendly fellow who has given the group's new settlement considerable support.

"Old" Ned

A 15-year old street urchin, called "Old" to distinguish him "Young" Ned, who is seven years his junior.  Serves on retainer as the group's guide within Cillamar.

Shen Po

A Zan'anian leader, with whom the heroes are working to found a new settlement.  This once-handsome man has a badly scarred face.  He describes himself as 'no more than a middling bureaucrat', though Mei Ling believes he has also received some training in the martial arts.

Sorority of the Swan

This organisation is comprised entirely of women.  They work covertly to prevent exploitation of either the environment or of people (e.g. slavery).  Known members include Bree, the minstrel at the Inn of the Slumbering Drake, and Sapphira Silverhue, an elven ranger.

The Statues

These eight individuals were turned to stone by Tsathar Rho over the past twenty years.  Now restored to flesh, they may be valuable allies.

Zegwort

A beetle fey who helped the heroes rescue some hostages by providing them with an escape tunnel.  Wears a natty miner's helmet.
