Beeton

The home town of the heroes, Beeton is a mostly-quiet village with some 400 adult citizens.  Thanks to Beeton's location on a broad, east-facing incline, it enjoys good growing seasons.  Honey and honey-related products are the primary products of the village, with "Beeton's Best" mead being served in taverns across Morrain.  The only real danger the locals experience is in winter, when goblin raiding parties often come down out of the hills in search of food, but the village militia is generally able to deal with this threat.

Black Stump, The

The remains of a once-colossal tree, the black stump is some eighty feet in diameter and over forty feet high.  How tall the tree stood in life is incalcuable.  Perhaps it reached all the way to the Cloudlands of the giants?  Within the stump can be found several varieties of rare mushroom, which all possess useful herbal properties.  The stump lies half a day's travel to the south-east of Beeton.
