Half-Elf Monk 10

Originally of Zan'anian blood, this half-elf's soul now inhabits a typical Morrainian frame (though her half-elven nature still holds true).  She is a student of the martial arts, and a member of the Order of the Dawning Sun, which is gradually rebuilding after a long period of near-dormancy.  For a member of a monastic order, she shows a significant lack of patience with rules and regulations.

William Applebough

A simple-hearted fellow who really just wants to run a nice quite apple orchard and watch over the the spiritual needs of some hard-working peasants.  Somehow he's ended up the leader of a self-proclaimed Barony, and recently married the noble-born daughter of a man he suspects is an evil conspirator.

Not much is known of this newcomer to the group, except that she travels in the company of a fierce deinonychus named "Chicken".

Zook Farplane

Gnome Summoner 10

This gnome has a forceful but far-from-charming personality.  Touched by fey-blood of some kind, he shows an affinity for creatures of that realm.  Once at one time the promised mate of Arachne, queen of the spider fey, but has since completed that role.

Bob Beardhammer

Dwarf Fighter 4

This somewhat surly individual is the only one of his race to live in Beeton.  Perhaps that accounts for his disposition.  Beardhammer's reasons for living in the bucolic, rural village are unknown, and the dwarf himself certainly hasn't seen the need to enlighten anyone.  Beardhammer holds a particular disdain for Zook, considering him a foppish fool.

Cora Hilltopple

The effervescent Cora is the daughter of the village innkeep, Bayard. Now rather stout, Bayard boasts often of his daring youth, and Cora has lapped up all his stories in wide-eyed wonder.  Others in the village are more sceptical of Bayard's claims, though they all agree he tells a fine tale.

Eric Vanderheim

The third son of a powerful noble in the kingdom's capital city, Eric is something of a lothario, and none too careful about the marital status of the women he courts.  He's recently decided to take some time away from the capital, as there were several angry brothers and husbands looking for him, and he really didn't want to have to kill any of them over such matters.

Kia Archer

Gnome Cavalier 7

A bold young gnome, who despite her family name favours the blade over the bow.  Kia sought out the group when she heard word of all the great deeds they had been doing; she is keen to make her own mark as a hero.

Xang Zhu

A southerner of younger years than his appearance suggests, Xang is an accomplished wheelwright and arcanist: which might seem a strange combination, were it not for the fact that circles possess potent magical significance in Zan'an.  Xang is a refugee from the recent war, who has sought out rumours of the new refugee community at Castle Whiterock.
